Happy Birthday to Me
Well, for at least about 20 more minutes or so. It's been a pretty good birthday, a week long celebration. Today, not so much celebration as low key Sunday, which works out just fine. I wasn't really look for a lot of celebration this year. Do you ever have those years where you're just not as in to celebrating as you were?
I had far more interest in planning and prepping and DOING for pup's birthday since he was really aware this year for his LOL. Mine, eh. I got some GREAT things from Cat and pup (the Wii Fit is what's keeping our household just well, goofing off). And my family showered me with stuffs. And my sister goddess got me a cool cider and the most awesome card. Heehee. And triple chocolate cupcakes and random silliness with pup and the 4 generations in my family at lunch today ( Great Grandma, my mom, me and pup...who had chocolate EVERYWHERE on his body you can imagine...and in such a short time too LOL.) And I had birthday wishes from all over the world, from NY to the UK and hell, beyond, and some snuck in earlier than others. So all in all, fun times, yet low key, just the way I like it.
Although, I do swear...one of these years...I'm taking myself to a beach somewhere, sticking my toes in the sand and reading and drinking to my heart's content. LOL. That darn introvert in me ;)
