Pick your focus....
It's been busy day...although I got to sleep in! Whooo! Of course... that means I woke up in the 9am hour ;) But still...it's sleeping in! Hell, I got to follow it up with a slow morning of a hot bath, meditation and then a good breakfast that wasn't rushed.
I love my son, but some days, its nice to just take it all at a slower pace than those days that start with "mommy" every 10 seconds. :) The influx of chatter that is pup showed up around 2:30 and went on from there. The "I love you Mommy" as he was falling asleep is totally worth anything in my day. :) Thus, the reason, I refuse to go back to a 'day' job and am instead focusing on running my own business. I may get focused on trying to get things done, but he seems to understand. AND, he'll sit and chatter at me or help me with clients when we're training. He's a doll. He astounds people with counting for them during training. :) As for hypnosis or meditation...he responds with, "I love yoga."
Bless his little soul. We even made suncatchers and cookies today! I need to get his art site up...sighs......
Cat spent the day trying to nibble on me...lol, I had the giggles from THAT. And, he re-organized the music room...poor guy also had to move all the band equipment OUT of my truck and Fabreeze it...peeeeeeewwwwww...smoke reeks. The music room looks awesome, and apparently works from pup's impromptu drum solos this evening. However, I'm still looking forward to getting a separate insulated shed on the property here for the band(s) to rehearse in. I'm selfish :) I like Cat being closer to home AND the band being able to practice in a space that's theirs.
For me, tonight has been, get thru part of a client project and focus on some course work for myself-gods, I do a lot LOL. I managed to get thru 2 DVDs for the course, and 3 essay questions on the exam! All in all, a pretty damn productive day. Even with me sneaking in some HGtv (and laundry and dishes) watching. Yes, I have a TV vice...it's pretty infrequent, but damned if it doesn't get me moving in our house!
