It's a Reading Binge!!!
The books?
Because everyone in my local area is talking about the book and Dr. Plasker...I had to read it just to keep up, and I'm glad I did."Centenarians are one of the fastest-growing segments of the population, and we’re far more likely to reach this milestone today than ever before.
Health and wellness expert Dr. Eric Plasker has written The 100 Year Lifestyle, a book that reveals the secrets to making the most of this extended lifespan and living it to the fullest. Statistics tell us that only 30 percent of aging is based on your genetics while 70 percent is attributed to lifestyle choices. In Dr. Plasker’s breakthrough book The 100 Year Lifestyle is the answer to embracing this journey healthy and financially sound. Dr. Plasker’s comprehensive wellness system will add years to your life and life to your years."

This one, I picked up on recommendation from a consultation...someone who wants to use this program for their therapy.....
"For 20 years I suffered a serious drinking problem but was reluctant to seek help. Ironically, I was recognized as a proficient researcher, able to help others with their medical problems. I worked closely with doctors, some of whom were close friends. But I still felt the need to deal with my own problem privately. Then after years of study and a number of remarkable events, I developed a program that completely turned my life around. A recovery program that incorporates medication (Topamax, Campral or other meds as they become available); supplements including amino acids, vitamins, and the powerful anti-craving herb kudzu; a highly customized hypnotherapy program; and light exercise. It's done privately in your home with free support and mentoring on our incredible web based discussion board. The program works quickly and effectively to put you on the road to recovery.
My Way Out has captured the attention of both the medical community and the media. It's been covered in The Wall Street Journal and Newsweek Magazine among others. The reason? It works.
I invite you to join us on this exciting journey, whether you choose to quit drinking completely or moderate your consumption--it's all up to you."
I'm integrating both into my life and practice, so I'll keep you posted. I'm working on being a My Way Out Affiliate and listed as one of their recommended practitioners. And hell, if I want to be 120...I'm only 1/4th the way through life.
*gasp* I've gotten a lot done and wow...I've got a LOT of time to get MORE stuff done!!!!!!!
I hope your week is JUST as productive. What are you reading this week? Post UP!

I'm almost finished two anthologies. One is "These Guns for Hire" which features 31 stories about hit men and women. It's awesome. The other is "Thriller" which is more horror-based. It's the book that led me to author J.A. Konrath. Great stuff. Keep it up!
